Taupo Tap-Out our 1st tournament, but will on one the busiest cycling days in the southern hemisphere. We have 14'000 people riding around our lake the day after the tournament, so come and be part of the festivities. The tournament semi finals and finals will be held in the closed off main street. So huge crowds of spectators will be around to watch the best teams fight it out.

The best tourney poster of 2011 presented by Jinxy and Fixcraft

That time of year again. Jinxy picked her fifteen favourite tournament posters from 2011.  The rest of you can narrow it down to the top 3.

The designer of the winning poster gets a free set of wheel covers made by Jinxy, with the winning design, or a design of their choosing.  There's also some Fixcraft goodness, a couple mallet shafts and a toque aka stocking cap.

The poll closes on Wednesday November 24, at 11:59pm EST, and you gotta be logged in to vote.

Going forward: bench vs. 3v3?

yellowjoust

Let's hear people's opinions about this important topic.

Would you like to compete in more bench format tourneys in 2012?

If you're an organizer, would you prefer throwing more bench tourneys?

What do you see as pros/cons of bench vs 3v3?

If you've played or organized a bench format, what are your thoughts relative to format? Format includes number players, time limits, game organization (I.e., single elim, double elim, Swiss rounds, other).
