Courts
Description of courts:
3 courts if needed. 2 of the courts are permanently converted tennis courts (each 120'X85') and 1 court could be built from the Madison boards - we used them in the Midwest Open on a nearby parking lot. We can usually get Parks and Rec to drop off some bleachers for spectators. The courts are painted with a sand grit paint so it doesn't get slick when it rains. The permanent courts are OUR courts and Parks and Rec acknowledges this. As for shelter, restrooms, kitchen, we have access to the community center next to the courts. We will also have tents.

How many polo players in your city? :
30
Organizing team:
Tiffany, Jessi, Andy, Chris, Zach, Pat and more
Housing:
As for free housing - we have several polo mansions in the area with lots of floor space and big yards to camp out in. Paid options - there is a hotel on the legacy trail the you can ride right to the courts (~$60/night). There are also hotels downtown about 1 mile from the courts ($75-150/night).
Sponsors:
Where have a couple local frame builders. We have a welder that makes awesome trophies and goals, and can fix anyone's frame if it cracks during the tourny. Several bike shops that always donate prizes. A messenger bag company. A custom mallet maker. Great connections with local bars, bakeries, and coffee shops to hook us up with cheap drinks and free breakfast. Ale 8 usually donates sodas and water to our tournaments.
Food and drink:
Most of the food and drink will be through local restaurant sponsorships. We usually cook one or two bigs meals ourselves in the community center to help reduce registration costs, or have a grill going on the courts so anyone can cook their own food. I think anyone who has been here for a tournament knows that we are never lacking with the food and drink (of all percentages).
What else do you want to add? :
Lexington is centrally located to most of the polo cities in the east. We ladies will have travelled far enough this year (Berlin, Austin, Toronto, Calgary, Seattle), so our location might be a little more accessible / affordable.

Proposal type:
Ladies Army 2012
Proposed dates:
Ladies Army IV and The One Day Slay! Milwaukee-2012
I hereby propose that Ladies Army IV be held in Milwaukee, WI. Geographically, I feel it is the next best move for the Ladies Army Series, as it is centrally located. Our capability to host a tournament surpasses expectations, and our "Midwestern hospitality" deems to be some of the best.

Proposed Dates:  June 16-17 or October 6-7, 2012                        The One Day Slay! Co-Ed : The Friday before                    Milwaukee's weather is most uncomfortable (heat wise) in the middle of the summer. Our rain/storm season can run into June a bit. We have the capability to host either of these times. Dates being flexible, but both dates are beautiful times in our city and stay relatively moderate.
