Bike Polo Spring Break 0-Ten & SESPI 2 Feb 22-28th 2010

the start of promotions for bike polo spring break 0TEN!
the most screamed about bike polo event at any other bike polo event this year!
the Tuesday before this event starts is Mardi Gras so if you have two weeks off come down to the gulf coast!
People are encouraged to get Beach Houses or a nice Hotel room on the beach from the 1-7th from http://paradisebeachhomes.com/ (this should only cost 100-200 for the week with a lot of people) and stay longer if you wish with us in town and play more polo on the beach and enjoy MARDI GRAS on the GULF COAST from the 8th-16th of FEB!
SESPI will be on the 27th & 28th with other events, tons of pickup, and more going on all week long.
HELMETS REQUIRED. $20 per person registration. includes tshirt and more!

the house we stayed at last year was anything but a cablin, fuggin pool in the backyard, wraparound deck, big patio. TWO BLOCKS from an awesome hockey rink, that was a lot of fun!

because "real" spring break prices on housing are ridiculous and this way we get a sponsorship from the inn and house rental place bringing them a lot of buisness at the end of the off season!
plus spring break last for 3 months down here.

working on details of what weekend we will be working with. either feb 6-8th, feb 26-28th, march 5-7th (sadly this one has no hockey the thursday or friday before).

Lando has called dibs on all Four Loko for this weekend.
We rented that place on Largo last year with something like 16 or so from New Orleans. Want to find a place with a pool this year. Maybe combine forces with another city to create a spring break mecca.

Push it as close to the end of the off-season as you can still do it on the cheap. The weather averages for the first weekend of February in Pensacola the last 5 years haven't been too much better than in St Louis. It'd still be a nice break from winter (especially for folks from colder climes), but it doesn't look like it'd be swimmin' weather.

atl orlando or miami might be your cheapest bets. those all have people that would probably help you get here. but do check pensacola to cause its sometimes cheap to fly right into pensacola compared to gas and time to get here.

We all make an honest effort to be at tournaments. When they happen to fall on weekends that are too busy to leave town, we have to miss a tournament. Why is that grounds to boycott a tourney?
I have a feeling there's something else involved in your "boycott of one"....something that most of the rest of us Floridians grew out of when we realized we're all just a bunch of nerds on bikes.

Chandel, I would love to stay with you and HBP! My bf is also coming to this and would obviously want to stay with us as well. He will be there all week, but if I am in school this coming semester I might not be able to make it until Wednesday night at the earliest. Also, I will probably need someone to pick me up from the airport. I've looked at a few houses and it looks like they're around 1000-1200 for 10-12 people for the week.
