no seriously though - the bottoom one is my new polo bike.  You can see more pictures of it here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/28221017@N02/3051066538/in/photostream/

here's the run down -

26" mtb with horizontal rear drops, custom built 29er front fork, 36h sun mamoth wheels

this is the best polo bike I have ever ridden.  it's fast, handles amazing, can pedal through any corner w/o pedal clip, skid turns like no other, crushes it out of corners and generally makes me feel like a monster when I ride it.  I was tired of having a janky, half purpose built, might break, uncomfortable to ride polo bike so this is what I came up with.

Comming to a city near you to bash your knees - Tanya Harding!

you are wayyyy too tall for that little bike
That paint job is sick though!

no dice nyc...MKE!

thats why i feel like a monster when I ride it. besides, the tiny bike is kind of a portland thing...... I can't believe I just said that.....

have you zoo bombed yet? i did it when i was in PDX a few years ago on one of those mini bikes they love so much out there i think it had 16" wheels..the thing was shaking the whole time down the mountain

no dice nyc...MKE!

no zoo bombing for me. I like my body just the way it is and would prefer not to leave any of it looking like ketchup oatmeal on the street. And yes, the bikes are super f'king tiny - like all the way down to 10" kids bikes tiny.

if you are going to bash peoples knees you will need a bash guard.

Portland sure loves its tiny bikes. Hot shit, Crandall. Though with the seat that high, aren't you worried about bending the post?

i appreciate your concern for my safety. However, to answer your question I'll take a quote from the flickr link above.....

to answer your stupid questions in advance - yes I know the seat post is really long. No, I measured, it isn't longer than the actual seat tube. Yes it's meant to be ridden in a seated position only. No I'm not past teh "minimum insertion point"
