So I finally decided to give it some real loving. The new handbuilt 36h CR18 in the rear and the upcoming 48h Chukker front should take a couple of years of abuse... maybe one of slicing fools in half.
The fork got the shit beat out of it with a sledge and some 2x4s, and now has a pleasing amount of rake- I suggest you try it, too.
Now we're in love and plan on traveling the continent together. We're gonna need some spoke guards and probably a beer holder, upgraded brakes, kill off those 175 cranks, and we're off.
