How's that U-Break workin'? One of my friends has one and doesn't really care for it, but with FGFS frames it's pretty much the only option.

the u brakes work fine.

tell your friend to run a odyssey evo 2 side pull like a front brake. it works fine for me not as good as a v brake but i still skid around everywhere.

I ran odyssey evo 2 up front for a while, had to use a hose clamp to keep the cable adjuster (ran it direct with their little nubbin thing instead of the straddle cable) from getting knocked out of position.
