bridgestone mb-4, AKA "the chicago smasher"

Rear brake

I use a mountain bike because it's all I have besides my road bike.  I use a White Industries Eno Hub to get past the vertical dropout issues.  The frame's climbing proportions are not ideal for polo though:  The wheels are too far apart; which is sometimes too much space under the bottom bracket while tending goal and the turning radius could be better.  The small triangle, however allows me to have a better center of balance in tough situations.  Don't worry folks, a front brake will be added shortly (although some people with brakes don't choose to use them).  Thank you Doug for the bike portraits.  Updated: Switched (back) to freewheel & added a rear brake.  I started out with a freewheel in the days before Chicago started playing hardcourt; maybe this will help my shooting.

The top tube broke 11/29/09. I didn't notice because of the top tube protector.

AMERICA!

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.

CHICAGO! (the 4 stars are from the Chicago flag.)

ahhhh, nice homage, I love this bike, made me think of this.

I like it!

I also wear a helmet because of the man with the cape.
