I will work on the gearing, what do you suggest? (it is my daily driver too.)
perhaps get a flip flop. if you have to play fixed get a fixed/fixed. but i find that fixed is my preferred choice on the road and freewheel for polo. roughly a 1.7 ratio is the best for polo - in my opinion. i ride 35/21 freewheel for polo and my road gearing is 47/16. of course, i don't have a flip flop, i'm referring to two seperate bikes.

Im really happy with 38/14 fixed and 38/18 free the 38/12 is similar to 46/16 and an 18t freewheel is the best ive been able to find locally and works well for polo.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.
How does this bike hold up playing polo?
I love this bike, I true my wheels every couple of weeks, other than that she's a real thoroughbred!
Nic that bike got better since I saw it! and I think you should consider just carrying a 34t front chainring and perhaps a chain tensioner. 34/18 is what I had on my leader (retired). It isn't a pain to change the chainring, only about five minutes of tooling...
It now acts as an iPad mount.
