it's a pain in the arse to get it to seal properly. would not recommend it, but the wheel happened to have the conversion already so i used it
The GT take 2
Had this bike for a while, and recently it's undergone a bit of a transformation with a new fork, rear disc mount, and a paint job.
It had been serving me well, but i decided that the bent forks and galvanising/rust/original paint job had to go, and now i've got something that looks half decent.
still needs a more laid back seat post, or some more frame hacking
specs:
'flint cycles' custom made fork (390mm axle to crown, 15mm rake, 1" threadless)
amoeba borla bars with giant 50mm stem
dimension dual brake lever, avid bb5 with promax disc (rear), avid single digit 3 (front)
x-tech seat post with sdg bel air seat
sun rhyno light 32H rear wheel (tubeless), alex ace-17 32H front
truvativ ruktion cranks with howitzer BB
'universal composites' fibreglass wheel covers
this reminds me of my bike, same cranks, gt..How is your seat post? ive been thinking about a laid back seat post but with the geometry of the frame it might be to much? what do you think?

I use the same bike and was thinking about the possibility of modifying it somewhat as well. It is a great frame, but needs some tweaking to become excellent for polo. Did you have horizontal dropouts put in? And are you running 26" wheels now. If so, has it dropped the bottom bracket too much?

tubeless! hell yeah
