Rear brake

This was a Surly Karate Monkey frame that got broken and i picked up a while ago. I cut of the the broken steer tube, head tube and down tube. My friend Eric of Ground Up Designs, check him out! Welded in a new front triangle complete with ss couplers for travel, my bike is running 700x 36 and will fit in a 28x28x10 box with tools and some clothes. I run a 36 tooth front chain ring from a bmx and a bmx crank set. Note the Chukker in the rear, i found a 140 spaced tandem hub from the 80's it has freewheel threads on both sides, originally intended for a hub brake thread, i just threaded on a freewheel and use a commuting gear. only if the brakes moved as easy. Im still working on that brake issue. The head tube angle 70.5, and bb drop are perfect for me. I bring you the custom Ground Up Designs Polo Monkey!

Glad to see the ol' patented "Tall George half-handlebar" made it onto this one. I luv this.

You and those damn handlebars. Nice travel friendly rig, man. I'm guessing I'll be seeing it in person soon enough.
