I have yet to play on this. Just built it up a couple of minutes ago. Rides awesome! The frame is a bit small for me but methinks I like it so far. I love the lower-fitted u-brake forged to the chainstay. Oh baby, no one's gonna bash my brakes!
I found this frame in an alley and everything else (except the cog and the new Schwalbe Marathon PLUS) I had lying around. All in all, a cheap experiment. Woot woot. Watch out world, the SHADOW is comin for ya!!!!
I recently built up a community polo bike that had a U-brake on it. I think they rock for polo bikes. If I had my ideal placement, I think I would prefer mine to be just on the inside of the rear triangle, up where the brake bosses would normally go.

Anyway, you're better off with a fixed brakeless roadbike.

You need to update your photo, it looks nothing like that now. Get a good photo with the duck in it.

fuck ya, this almost makes we want to change the drop-down options for the brake to include u-brake. that thing even has a stabilizer bar on it, weren't those after-market?
