Houston is having a tourney this weekend Oct 2nd for the pre NACCC race, curious about the college station tourney anyone have any new info on that end?
Texas & Friends tourney in November
Hey yall
After the friendlies in Denton this last weekend (sep 3-4), I realize theres alot of interest in a texas regional tournament. So far im thinking November will be the best month for a tourney, and Id like to have it here in Austin. A 1 day, 2 court round robin with double elim at night might be the best option, but Id like to hear some input. What day is best, Saturday or Sunday? What weekend? Even do we think a 2 day might be better? Also if reps from clubs could chime in with if they think theyre people would come would really help with planning.
Being that Texas is so far from all the major clubs and tournaments, lets get Texas and her friends playing together.
you may want to check with the college station folks. i think they were talking about maybe doing a november tournament as well.
if little rocks comes, i'll just roll with them again.
We are planning to host a tournament here in B/CS somewhere in the 2nd weekend of November (11th, 12th, 13th)!
Downtown Bryan is playing host to a music festival of sorts which will be going by a different moniker than Rock the Republic this year. The two-year tradition of attaching a series of bicycle events, Ride the Republic, will also continue. This should include an alley-cat race, a bike polo tournament, and a trick jam/contest.
Count on two teams from San Marcos coming to both of those events.
this makes me excited to move to austin.

Im thinking last weekend in november for our tournament. Ive also been discussing a 2 day, 2 court tournament. I think were gonna have the thread up by late next week. Registration for that should give us an idea of the interest.
might be back on a bike by then but don't expect me to bring the pain this time....destroyed my elbow last weekend.

B/CS Bike Polo Tourney At Rock The Republic
Saturday, November 12
Come out during Rock the Republic to Neal Park to play or watch some bike polo!
-Warm up with some pick up games
-Play a 3v3 Tournament
-Bench Minor- If we finish the tournament and people still want to play more polo

Yeah so were changing the date of our tournament, were holding ours december 20th to coincide with the BFF happenings in town, watch for a poster and FB invite coming soon..........
I'm not sure anyone in Houston had heard about this but we'll be there.
yeah! 1 day saturday would be nice, would make traveling easier to schedule, but really any of those options sound good to me
