你好。 死飞车比普通的车更好。“Fixed gear” 是死飞。明白了吗？

This is a colloquialism. It translates as "dead fly", as opposed to a freewheel that sounds like, well, I'm sure you know what critter.

This Saturday at the Track Worldcup we will be playing polo outside the Laoshan Velodrome. Should be at the usual time. I'll list a better location as soon as I find out.

Whats up Beijing Bike Polo !!!

I'll be in town in two weeks, April 26th thru the 5th of May or so...

I already hit up Ines about hanging out and getting some polo in, I'll have my bike with me, but no mallets.

What day do you guys play? Also wondering if any Poloistas are willign and able to give me a place to crash for a night or two.

New summer starting time is 4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday, most weekends.

Location is the west side or Workers Gymnasium in Beijing.

Sorry took so long to get back to you. To put together a bike that's best suited for polo and general gettin'-arounding, swing by Natooke. Look it up online or just go to Wudaoying Hutong (one block south of North Second Ring Road across from Yonghegong on the west end). There you can also sign up for a newsletter and the polo letter that'll also keep you up to date as to where and when polo happens.

Dear Bike Polo Colleague,

Bike polo continues in Beijing each week.

Currently, our winter practices are every Sunday, starting at 2 pm, located on the west side of Workers' Gymnasium.

You are welcome to join us, whether you just beginning or a recent World Champion!

We will teach you the fundamentals of bike polo and you are likely to play in a game on the first day.

So dress warmly, since we play outside, and come join us!
