hey guys,
i am in cupertino for work stuff and wanted to check out sunday polo over on this side of the country. i've played in michigan chicago an london, but i don't have a bike with me.

if you play sunday after noons then i thought i would take the train up and hang out.

I was looking in to the San Fran polo but it doesn't look like they play on the weekends.

Hey Braley

Normally SF only plays grass on Sunday, but this weekend we are having a full-on polo BBQ. We will be at Youngblood Park having a mini bench minor and a ton of pickup. Most likely the slugs of Oakland will attend. come on over and we will make sure you play.

Hi there,
I'm going to be in Oakland for a few days in August and hope I get to play. Do you have a beginners' night? I played for about a year, but haven't played since October 2010 because I'm in Cuba. (I mean to introduce it here as soon as I can get my son bring to come again without a cast on his arm, and bring more mallets).
I assume the people I'll be staying with have bikes, but they might not be suitable for polo. Do you have loaners?

Im sure we can work something out with a bike. Let us know when you plan to come and we can figure it out. No beginners night in Oakland but there is in SF which is a 20 min BART (transit) ride. We play on Tuesdays and Sundays in Oakland and Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat in SF.

Looks like no polo in Oakland for me, sigh. I had two cancelled flights on consecutive days and got here a day late, and with a sprained ankle. :-(
Thanks so much, Jamie, and Tim too, for your welcoming attitude. I didn't see anyone from Oakland in Calgary but met Machine - if your ears were burning on Saturday it was because of the nice things he was saying about you.
