hahaha!!! I'm still in Victoria. I was supposed to come back last week, but I got pretty sick and didn't feel like traveling while I was in that condition. I'm getting better though. I've had this crazy sinus infection that's taking a while to go away since I have no way of getting antibiotics. But it's def healing up. I should be coming back within the next week or so. I miss and love everyone.

I was not exactly trying to party at the courts. Even though we get away with a lot, I say we should still be at least slightly humble, we still play within line of sight of a cop station, and they slow rolled us again the other night.

Neither was I. I was simply stating that we can play till what ever time we please without worrying about lights turning off. I didn't want to bring the party to the courts, although I'm sure there will be drinking and smoking as per usual. I mean we've blasted slayer at 12 at night with no disturbance from the cops because for the most part that's not really a station. It's more of a command post. There generally aren't cops stationed there. Which explains why we've never been harassed for playing so late and being so loud late at night.

especially when Canada, Pullman, Seattle and Portland (maybe even Machine?) are coming.

I would say that's an IF they are coming. Not to be a downer, but not a lot of people have even seen the post. I've had to direct people to it because they claim they can't find it. But that's not a big deal word of mouth usually helps out anyway.

Still, the main event comes once we get some courts :) This event was more about *slightly* lower key polo and having fun around town and showing the city and whatnot to everyone and trying to see if we can raise enough money to build some courts.

I agree. I would say the main event would be a tourney of some kind and not a pick up weekend. It's still low key. Having people play pick up through the weekend does not imply a huge tournament or elaborate set up. It just means making it worth peoples travel time. Like I said If I was driving five hours from pullman as an example, I wouldn't just come for a single night of partying and some pick up. That would just be a waste of time and gas to me. Anyways I appreciate your concerns and the fact the you have done an excellent job at getting this thing going. Thanks Mark! :) And like I said earlier upon my return I will be most glad to help out and spearhead a lot of these projects with you.
