i'm flying into seatle on thurs the 16th and hope to play some polo before i fly back out on Monday... am heading up to Vancouver on Friday..... i'm also on a recon mission to find out if there are any high school kids playing around seatle.... we've got about 12 kids playing polo at the high school that i teach at in phila and am hoping to cobble together a national invitational tournament for high school players this year.... anyway, do you guys play on the weekend... what day, what time..... Messman r u still out there....

If you haven't heard yet, I will be stepping down as Cascadia Regional Rep, and Board member. My plan is to use the month of January to find my replacement. Please start thinking about this role and how it will affect you and your city now. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Timeline:
-January 1st to midnight Jan 7th to put in your name as a Candidate. Please post your name, and short campaign speech IN THE THREAD ON THE CASCADIA PAGE.
-January 8th to midnight Jan 22nd City Reps talk to your cities and VOTE by emailing me your choice (this is only for one spot)
*** CITY REP VOTES MUST BE TURNED IN BY 1/22/2/12 TO COUNT***
-Shannon and Cecily will speak with the new Regional Rep and decide among the 3 of them who will be the new Cascadia Board member.

Please spread the word to anyone you think needs to know about this, I want this turnover to be smooth and soon before the season get to heavily upon us.

We play tuesday and thursday at Cal anderson from 7ish until 11. We might play saturday but as it's a holiday we might be drunk.

where we are at... The Spring Break Hawaii tournament will be the week of the 7th-15th of February. Camp sites are available for reserve 30 days in advance. Starting planning, only 24 teams can play. Priority will need to be given to the teams that show ticket stubs first.

I dont see why not, a lot of people have had misgivings about it but it seems like with the new tourney set up(all qualifiers on the same weekend) people could spring for a hawaii polo retreat-or week could make it the nw polo retreat

After a seriously shitty week it's gotten worse. While heading to the crown I lost my passport in the airport. Needless to say I'm here for the weekend. Thought I had a place to stay and he who shall remain nameless shafted me. Mess was kind enough to let me crash at the garage.

probably 3/4ths of the players are in calgary, but me and a few others are still here. I'm gonna send a text to whoever is still in town and we'll see if we can get everyone to meet at cal and ride to west seattle for the DB ride? saturday is typically judkins but I'd be down to play at cal by 4:00 saturday, as well as cal again on sunday by 5pm.

I want to get the word out that my girlfriend & I are moving from Chicago to Seattle at the end of August. I'm planning a trip out there in mid July to look for apartments & maybe interview. My budget is pretty tight so I was wondering if some folks might have a place for me to crash while I'm visiting. Of course, I'm bringing my polo bike with me to play some polo & ride around Seattle all day to look at neighborhoods & apartments.

I'll be seeing some of you in a few weeks at Bench Minor so I hope you don't mind me asking about everything in Seattle.

I found a place to crash & I booked my flight out there. I'll be in town Mon 07/18 - to Sat 07/23. I plan to play some polo at Cal Anderson when I'm there. If anyone want's to go on some daytime or evening rides through the city I'd be up for a tour. I really want to learn a lot about Seattle on this trip.

Until then, we are pretty stoked on Bench Minor coming up real soon. It's going to be a great weekend.

Hey Dustin, I owe u guy t-shirts been kinda busy planing Hugh 36 plus team tournament here in Sacramento in early July. I will be posting on lobp. Six courts three day tournament. I know there is gonna be some cascadia tournaments around the same time. I hope we don't interfere with any of those tournaments, hope to see some Seattle teams here. We have a small court that the lights stay on all night. Sometimes we play till 1or2 am. Talk to you soon.

nice Erin. we play tuesdays at cal anderson park - 6pm. thursdays we play at cal anderson park at 6 pm and in Greenlake at 65th & weedin park and ride. wednesdays we play from around 530 - around 8 pm at cal anderson. fridays there's usually stuff happening as early as 3 or 4 (some people are off fridays) until around 8 at cal anderson park. saturdays/sundays usually all day at cal anderson park. sorry it's so complicated, we share the court with dodgeball folks and literally have a schedule. see you soon, shoot me an email through this forum and ill get you some phone numbers closer to your trip.
