Mankato MN
Contact info:

Court size:
1 court, 80 x 180, Lights until 10:30pm

"Dynamic Duos - Deuces Wild." Everyone is encouraged to dress up with a teammate as some sort of duo, for example: Batman and Robin, Thelma and Louis, Mario and Luigi, Bonnie and Clyde, Peanut Butter and Jelly, etc.

- the format is shuffle day one, draft day two. Everyone registers with one teammate so we have a bunch of teams of two. (This is your dynamic duo). For Saturday every duo is then shuffled and paired up with another duo for every round of day one resulting in 4v4 matches. Wins and loses are tracked for each duo.

- Sunday each duo is seeded and a draft takes place, with each duo selecting another duo to team up with for the full day. Day two is then a 4v4 double elimination bracket.

rotating permagoalies?

More permadefense. Only 3 from your team can cross half.

permadefense, ok. no screening? no stacking?

With the obstruction rule screening is a non-issue. We ran a crease the last 4v4 we hosted and had almost no issue with stacking.

sounds good.

I'm just daydreaming at this point, but Cuyana lakes is kind of on the way for me. Any of you Minnesotians interested in meeting up for some mountain biking the day before the tourney?

I'll be getting stuff ready, but there is a few areas to do some mountain biking in Mankato also. Check out their website.
