Escape from No Fun City
The first formal tournament at the world's first polo-specific court.
It will be a 16 team, two day tournament with swiss rounds (AM/PM brackets) on Saturday and a double elim bracket on Sunday.
There will be an alleycat race and a fundraiser party at Astorino's on Saturday July 26, also based around the same theme.
This is a costume tournament so get dressed up with your team! You can stick to the Escape from New York theme or go totally off the board, but I want to see some flair.
Fun is also strongly encouraged! We are hoping for a lovely summer weekend of tournament games, pick-up, bike racing, evening beach hangs, and dancing.
Registration nitty gritty:
Registration is being handled by Britannia Centre. It is $60 per team; one team member must register and pay on behalf of the entire team.
Registration includes entry to the fundraiser (Saturday night) and alleycat (Saturday during PM swiss rounds). To register your team, you can call the Britannia front desk [(604) 718-5800] or go online:

Get your teams ready and get excited!
*Money will mostly be going to the community center that booked the court for us as well as insurance. Most of the leftovers will pay for board storage so that we can continue to run 2+ court tournaments like the Crown.
