bmx bar ends?

so is anybody using the bmx bar ends that go over the the bars and pinch on with hex bolts?

Im thinking about buying a set or two, They seem sturdy and less prone to destruction than plastic bar plugs.

I've got a set of Oury Lock-On Grips ordered for my new polo bike. They have an aluminum clamp on both ends, but I'll still have to use a plug. I think those BMX plugs would probably work great for a polo bike.

Swobo sent 3 sets of their bar end caps for prizes at the Slapdick Fall Open. They went to third place, which ended up being us. I already had one cap, so now I have one left over.

If you want one cap, I'll gladly mail it out to you. Send me an email. They work awesome. I use a set of locking grips with the end caps on the ends. Going for 6 months without an issue. Usually I keep this extra in my bag for people with uncapped bars to borrow for the night.

+1 I hate to see people with uncapped bar ends. Those pileup crashes don't happen too often, but I don't ever want to come down on someone's uncapped bar.

I just put some nice Blue Anodized ones on my bike this weekend. They sure are pretty. I'm sure they will be completely scratched to shit in a week but that's Bike polo.
