some exciting facts about Portland's blinky ball
* it is not full of water which is why it works in the low temps
* because it is not full of water the ball behaves strangely, as the inertia of the light moves around inside the ball.
* when brought into play, the blinky ball receives many cheers and jeers as the number of dramatic crashes increase significantly.
* Even though we already have one Portland has not asked for a blinky ball yet.
But *I* do want one and im not above asking, if there are still some available.

Sprints eh? Actually we have our own homegrown sprints in MPLS called Coldsprints. It was designed and coded by one of our own.

we played with ours for the first time last night. thank you sveden and mpls! they are heavy, and certainly throw off your timing a bit, but loads of fun nonetheless. they definitely make for a different game.

We tried out a new night spot tonight under the interstate. The edge is less than a foot high, and the blinky balls are just heavy and soft enough that we can't really launch them out into traffic. They're perfect. Thanks again.
You can spot it if you look hard enough.
wow we had a blast with it tonight. it got cold tonight and we didnt have proper balls so we used them during when we had lights still.
but we found an awesome new way to start the game.

I think these balls excel in colder temps.
Glad to see you guys are enjoying them. It warms my frozen heart. Dear dog it was so cold last night. We got booted from one garage and settled in 6 stories up top of a garage. It was windy and 10F/-12C but we had a blinky ball to amuse us. I'm easy to amuse.
We are in the process of buying all of these. You can be sure we'll bring a ton to whatever tournament we show up at to trade/sell/gift.

sadly the ball as soft cause of the warmth down here but was still fun. ive found out they only really last two nights on our court and get real dirty and not as bright. but those nights are worth it! holding on to the last of three for the winter time!
