I would, likewise, thrown in my "East Van $10"
Hockey Balls
I was looking into getting custom printed Hockey Balls made up for our tournament. So far I haven't really found anything (if anyone has some info, let me know). I have been talking with a manufacturing company in Taiwan though, and they can do it, but their minimum order is a bit bigger than I'm looking for....so I got thinking, what if we got a bunch of cities together, pooled our cash and had them printed with League of Bike Polo or something. The minimum order is 2000 and the cost with printing, shipping, export charges etc would be around $1500....10 cities 200 balls each for $150.....anyone interested in pursuing this?
Okay catfish, I'm going to move my mouth like this...
Mine are going to "Main Street Van Bike Polo" splinter club. I'm tired of riding to East Van.
Good riddance...
Okay catfish, I'm going to move my mouth like this...
east van was tired of you riding to east van, so this all works out then.
i think the only reason edmonton wasn't tired of him riding to edmonton is that he lived less than a block from our court, and his beer fridge was always full
I'm having a tournament. March 6th. I'm only inviting West Van.
i think everyone would be really excited about this but my concern would be the quality? Is there anyway that we could ensure that we were getting a good product/
I'll see if they'll send me a sample.
Sample ball is on the way ... let you know how it holds up and what not ...
Let me know how it turns out... I'm down... even if there's no logo... still better than $3.25 ea.
i've got some serious hockey balls right now.
my problem with this idea is that the print will wear off after a day of use at any tournament and maybe last a couple weeks at pick up...so why bother ......

I would put in $10 in my city if I got 13 (I think I did that math right) quality balls out of it I would chip in for sure.
Edit:
United Cycle in Edmonton has printed balls that are awesome and as high-quality as anything else. Maybe contact them as well see where they get theirs from and what size run if you haven't already.
