I ended up buying it too, but I haven't even finished building and I want to sell it haha... I'm a pretty small guy, and the slack geo is just a little bit too much bike for me to handle. Thanks though. How are you liking it?
Motobecane 29er?
Hey everyone. I need a little advice on a frame. I found a Motobecane full rigid 29er on craigslist for cheap and I'm wondering about the geo. I can't find the specs anywhere for the particular frame. The nice thing about it is that it has the canti-mounts and I have a set of 700c wheels I can throw on. Anybody play on a 29er frame?
I know a guy who sold our bike on ebay for $300, not to bad only a $50 dollar loss. I personally I like the geo and the fact I'm riding a 29er makes me comfortable on the bike since that's what I commute on. Originally I was gonna get a 21" frame but they were out so I bought a 19", which ended up fitting me perfectly, although if I could go back I'd get a 17.5", I like my frames on the small side. But besides that I love it, it's pretty much a complete polo bike out of the box and fun as hell to ride off the court too.
