illegal, no. would i use it? also no.

btw, 8190 yen = $98.83 US dollars

and good luck with those carbon and bamboo shafts....

Agreed. Not illegal, but too pricey and not enough style for me.

We play polo in the ATL

agreed. also shuffling movements may be irregular on this with those skeleton type formats

If you send me one for free, I'll tell you if it sucks or not.

Is it illegal? I don't care if it is or isn't.

$100 for a mallet? It should be illegal.

somewhere in china, a panda bear goes without dinner because of these poles.

I consider this mallet SILLY

Pro-friendly bike polo!

Ya $100 for a mallet?? I can go buy brand new ski poles, and slap a head on it for less than that...the bamboo might actually work well, who knows, but I'm not gonna pay $100 to find out. I like 7075 aluminum ski poles.

We used to play with bamboo in Berlin and I was an advocate until I realized a good ski pole is better and more durable.

seems like it would be very light. i'd give the head a go, but not on either of those poles.

carve. smash. eat shit.

i bet it is lighter than fly shit.
i think they are on the right track with this one. very interesting. EighthInch. you paying attention?

give blood. play polo.

I agree; on the right track and promising good times for the geeks among us. :)

I've been trying bamboo and it was a pleasant surprise, not only did I seem to hit more ball's it also felt like more of them reached the goal (compared to my 7075). It did break of clean when I hit my bike instead of the ball (too eager...).

Now I wonder if more skill's could be a replacement for stronger materials like aluminum (and thus lighter materials), or should violent opponents be a consideration as well?

Did you know the weight of the head solo?

i remember in 05-06 a few bamboo mallets floating around, but the game was different back then.
