Not many advantages at all.
Only that if you were a intermediate skilled mechanic you could probably switched it out for a janky 700c fixy get up. The rake of the fork changes the stability and slacker cornering, and there still isn't any toe over lap on the bigger sizes. The bb is high enough to where there wouldn't be pedal strike.
Its a pretty big jump to go from 26" to 700c, a lot the attribute will no trnaslate.
I've been interested to see how 650c fit in relation to brake clearance either side pulls or v-brake. On The original joust (650c @ the NACCC), we tried to have it fit with the 26 inch, but the bb drop was way too low the pedals would strike. In January last year we switched to the 26" design and raised the bb, so i can get my 650c's when i go home for break.
Anyway, here is how I rode to work at the Museum today:
I was getting looks from hipster kids on State St. like i stole everything on my bike.
plus i was riding polo gear with a 700c front brake.
