LOBP Classic?
Is there a way to revert back to .ca classic? This is a bit too much clicking. It took me 47minutes to figure out how to post a new topic. Also, what happened to the x2 button? That was the only good drunken idea that i had in the aughts?....
Seriously though, though i'm surely not the only one with this sentiment, I'll get used to the new site. I'm just giving you some shit and I really appreciate all the work you've done on this site, kev. The poloverse wouldn't be nearly what is today thanks to your hard work.

I like the new regional/club forum section on the front page, but I miss the active page there as well. Maybe you could have a tabbed area where users can customize their thread searches.
As it stands now I just type "active" into my url area and tab to the first link.

What I liked about the old version was that pretty much everything I cared about was on the home page. I look forward to the continued development.

kev maybe just like the regional/clubs section comes up on the homepage for those logged in maybe an active threads section can come up underneath that?

Hi I'm a little slow and just found this thread.
I definitely prefer this format (lobp.com/forum/active) as a home page. The current home page style looks more like a blog after what 10 years of blognet there are zero of those sites that have got more than a handful of visits from me. Newsgroups were pretty good, forums are mostly great.
There are two things that I definitely like about the current home page. Upcoming Tournaments is one. From that bar on the left you had a place to instantly monitor traffic on an upcoming tourney. Very helpful to have a place to track news at events I'm interested in.
News is like Kev's choice. If Kev thinks it deserves front page then fo'sho I am going to check it out. I was sort of proud to have my cell phone pick of Mini Mike MVP make it there. The old photo rotation had some of that. Kev's choice is a good thing.
