if someone is tripoding...can they use their tripod as a shield/barrier/buffer to keep someone from riding near them and the ball or do they have to lift their tripod arm for another player's wheel? can they extend their tripod arm out (as long as it's still on the ground) to force a player to alter direction or even have to brake? if you see someone's wheel coming and you purposely put/leave your mallet in their front wheel's path...who's at fault when the mallet ends up under the front wheel and someone takes the hit?
I feel like the mallet should have to give way in any scenario...dabbing is part of the game and taking away someone's tripod is a great way to tap them...when you're both at ridiculously slow speeds of course. it's like a footdown chessmatch...
am I overanalyzing the like contact rule?...mallet on mallet and bike on bike...
this should be in rules not general, and there's a thread on it more or less already.

But i think: wheel beats mallet. rules defending tripods are silly, move the mallet and learn some balance.
