Olympic hockey torrents

Don't have a television and/or want to watch more than just the few that are broadcast?

www.nhltorrents.co.uk

It's a well regulated private tracker that primarily deals with the NHL, but serves as a hub for hockey videos of all leagues and languages. I usually just download Blackhawks games in HD (which are not available locally, and especially not in HD) and NHL on the Fly, but I am crazy excited for these winter olympics.

Tips if you plan on downloading more than a few games-- (1) mind your seed ratio as you must keep it at .65 or higher, (2) this is easy to do if the first few games you download are popular ones, ie- don't make your first download some obscure match from two months ago, and (3) utilize the "free leech" torrents and remember to cash in your seed bonuses.

I realize this isn't exactly polo related (which is why it's in the off topic section) but with all the great hockey happening over the next month I thought some of you might appreciate the heads up.

I don't know the specifics of what you;re talking about, but if someone is going to be at Spring Break and can figure out how to have the gold medal hockey game on a computer it would be IMMENSELY appreciated. A bunch of us canadians would love you forever

As long as you have a computer and an internet connection it's easy!

(1) http://www.nhltorrent.co.uk --> is your tracker (basically a search engine for games)

(2) http://www.utorrent.com/ --> the program you use to download the game (bit torrent client)

(3) http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ --> free universal video player used to view 'em.

TOEWS! my hero

YIP!

i hear they closed the beer shops 4 hours early in vancouver tonight.

Thanks for sharing the info! I am confident that I'll find the hockey videos I need on this resources, in fact this is one of my last chances to review those videos, there aren't many hockey resources out there. I recently found a new one on fantasy hockey and I also hold on to it.

For NHL live viewing I use this:
