i got hit by a car

I was riding my bike parallel to the SUV, going about the same speed as him and he decided to make a right turn without looking for me, so he hit me, and I was launched about 20 feet head over heels landed on my shoulder and scraped some of my face. I popped up right away wondering what happened and tried to gather myself. A man witnessed the whole thing, and I am completely grateful for him being there otherwise who knows how the story would've gone. The driver was at fault not me, the police said that I had the right away, so I have the police report on my side, the driver got a citation for it, and my aunt got me an attorney.. Things could be worse.. Im grateful for just a shoulder fracture..

My bike is a beast, there is almost absolutely nothing wrong with my bike, the handlebars are a little bent, but other than that its solid. the rims aren't even bent.. and it's terrible that the only thing i was thinking about in the hospital was if my bike was going to be ok, and how am i going to afford to get it fixed.
