I'm moving to downtown Concord in the beginning of June. I've never played polo, but I've been interested in it for a while. Were you able to find anyone to get up with in the area?

Just missed asheville polo. (about 2 hours from concord) they're playing grass there now, but hard court fell apart. I think they're trying to put together something in raleigh, 2 hours in the other direction. Good luck! Shouldn't be too hard to start something in concord or charlotte
Start it up. My wife's from those there parts and I'd love to pack the bike when we visit the family. Distract them from the college basketball for about 0.01 seconds...
If I can find one person in Concord to start going out with me once a week to play, it might spark interest and people will come.
We're going to start ours up again in about a week (took a break for winter). We started ours last year and moved up from grass/dirt to hardcourt. We play in Winston Salem but you're more than welcome to come and play!
Talk to the local gov't in Concord or Charlotte. Ours was super nice and hooked us up with a used to be tennis court with the poles ripped out and repaved.
Hey you still got a game going? I'm in Winston Salem and CLT next week. Not planning on lugging along the polo bike, but could reconsider, or otherwise would like to come by and check it out.

are you moving to asheville? you should try to get some of the grass players to start playing hardcourt. also, i'm asheville born and raised so if you need any location ideas, i know them all. i'd love to be able to come home and play polo.
I'm rooted to Winston. I will however make the trip to Asheville anytime to play some polo.
