Detroit/Ferndale Polo

Due to the disappearance of Le Jolie Rouge Polo Club, I am trying to get another group of people together to play in the Detroit area. I have been tentatively planning on Sundays at 3p (maybe earlier) in the roller hockey rink at Wilson Park in Ferndale (same park Le Jolie played in).
I’d love to see some fresh faces come out and play. I have a bunch of mallets (for sale and some loaners) so all you need to bring is your bike and yourself.
If it gets rained out then we usually just end up porch drinking at my place a block away.

Anyone who is interested should get a hold of me on here and I will send you my number so we can be in touch about changes and other nights we will be gathering.

Hey come play in Ann Arbor, we play on sundays at four and usually thursdays at seven. We would love to have you guys out for some polo, and we have floor space if you guys want to stay the night.

We would also like to see a solid club start up in the D, there have been a few that have come and go, and with all the young people moving down there, or at least so i hear i am suprized that one has not stayed around. Grand Rapids and us need some more people to play in the state.

Keep your standards low, and morale high.

I've know and have met a handful of people that play in Ann Arbor, and I am in Ypsilanti fairly often (I lived in Ypsi for a long time), so I have been planning on coming out to play for a bit but have been a little to busy to make the drive.

Hopefully soon, if not I've been told by a few of your guys that you might caravan it out here after the Canada trip, if so then you have a place to crash.

Hey man, I live in Detroit and got a few games of polo in Ferndale happening last summer, but I couldn't keep it consistent. Do you still play in Ferndale? That is the ideal place to play in Detroit with those roller hockey courts. I play occasionally Saturday night or Tuesday night with some kids in the Eastern Market, but we just play in the street and bums steal shit if you leave on the sidewalk.

Seriously contact me soon. I have a few kids who are committed to playing polo, but need a solid base to play.

Anybody from the Detroit area still play at all? Just wondering.

Trying to get things started up in Rochester Hills.
Just moved from Las Vegas, and I've found that things aren't too Polo 'round here.
Fingers crossed.
