negative on the newbie thing. i try work on my speed, balance, hard forehand shot, and smart positioning before i worry about snow coning a ball and cute passes. wasn't trying to take anything away from these guys.

aren't those considered scoop shots? while i could see the use wouldn't the 270 be illegal?
in espis they weren't illegal but as usual in competitive polo it is hard to find an opening to use these trick shots unless your opposing team has been playing for 1 month. true story.
but for most tournaments not east coast based, wrist/scoop shots do not count as goals. tournies such as midwests, nats, etc.
but like you I see the use in these it's just that when you're playing competitively in a tournament setting it's real hard to get away with doing stuff like this.
Someone get us a vagazzle goal video. A vagazzle is worth a point in a game. Go for the big triangular area.
And make it a shot not some fwip wif yo wist ting.
also alexis!! when are you gonna put your shit up? I have some footy of you practicing before that finals game at midwests and you do a few tricks. and I know you can do all three of those things above plus the 180 scoop shot.
