Thanks Devin, I think we'll definitely play polo in Frisco on monday's night and then hit the road in the morning.
We want to check the red woods (if possible) and then head to Portland, spend the night there and get to Seattle the 7th. Though nothing is final , I think we'll decide on the itinerary once we get to San Francisco.
Road trip to Seattle
So 4 of us from Guadalajara are going to Seattle for the worlds. Flights booked, bikes ready.
We'll get to San Francisco the 5th and will start our road trip all the way up to Seattle by car. This thread is to see if anyone else is doing the trip and wants to join us in our polo caravan, play polo in different cities, as well as finding accomodation from good samaritans along the road, and in seattle once we get there. A bed, a couch, a soft carpet is good enough, we can help you on your daily errands, cook, make laundry, or give you tequila in return.
I think this is the route we'll take:

101 first, then I-5. Any suggestions and tips are greatly appreciated
Thanks everyone!
you're definitely going to want to get to Olympia on the 2nd, we're having an international pickup weekend the week before worlds.
If you aren't sinning, Jesus died for nothing.

Hey Raul,
Monday night Sept 5th is a polo night here so pick up the car and go to Jose coronado playground 21st and shotwell in the mission. If you've got more than 2 days to get to Seattle, or if you'll be driving back I recommend spending some time on the coast highway. In Oregon its the 101, and in California its highway 1 or just the PCH. There will surely be people driving up from here - ill ask around about timing. Some probably work at least part of that week. I've got a wedding to attend, so can't go (same excuse for Calgary, though a good shit talker should note that I didn't qualify) heh.
Portland is a 1-long-day drive if you roll the 5 up. A night in Sacramento or Chico would cut a few hours off that day on this side. Eugene is about 2 hours from Portland. But Sac is the only scene where I'm sure you could get some polo in mid week. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't know of any polo on the coast / 101 north of here and before Portland.
Saludos desde San Francisco!
Devin
