What happened to Buffalo Bike polo?

So I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and when I first joined the league website about 2 years ago, I was stoked to see that Buffalo had a polo crew since I try to go back and visit my family as much as I can.

Since then, I have heard little to nothing from, or about Buffalo bike polo, which makes me sad. My 14 year-old little brother, who still lives in Buffalo, really wants to play after hearing my stories of good times and a fun sport. Even though I told him that Buffalo (supposedly) has a club, he wants to start his own club in South Buffalo where he lives.

My question is; does Buffalo Bike Polo still exist? Or does my little brother have to either start his own club, or find a ride to Rochester every time he wants to play? I've tried to contact the club without much luck.

Charlie is from Buffalo.

Rik, I've tried to get in touch with them, I never heard anything in reply.

When I left Buffalo a couple years ago the only guys playing where the shop guys from Campus Wheel Works. I'm pretty sure they go too busy with the shop and don't play anymore. May want to contact the shop http://www.campuswheelworks.com/ .

charlie has been in toronto for the past while, but he is back in buffalo if you want to try to get something started.. his email is bure103@hotmail.com, if you ever want to play up here you're more than welcome, less than a 2 hour drive

BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, THERE IS NO ACTIVE CLUB IN BUFFALO CURRENTLY........

like everything else in buffalo it just faded away....
the dudes at campus told me some other kid took over, but when i tried emailing him, he never got back. But last year some kids from buffalo showed up at our tourney...
but you're welcome to jam in rochester. gimme an email and i'm sure i can find enough kids to play a game any day.

Much appreciated, but the post was actually more for my little brother. He wants to start playing in the worst way, but being only 14, he lacks the resources ( and a car) to get to another city to play. Maybe I can put him on AMTRAK to Rochester or something?

or go to toronto. theyre better. and prettier. and have drinkable water.

the amtrak is only like 20 bucks or something. theres also a bus thats cheap. i use it to go to shows when the GF has the car outta town. if he talks enough ahead of time i'll ship in some nerds from syracuse also. you can usually throw a bike under the bus. haven't dealt with train

this is my buddy Joe (http://www.facebook.com/joe.piehler) He lives in Buffalo, and last I heard they had trouble finding anyone who wanted to play so it fell apart. I know he's down to play so hit him up!
