Hello Polo World,
In honor of my boyfriend's birthday and his love of polo, I am inviting anyone who can come to Chicago to play some polo on Saturday March 13th! This will also be a good warm up for the Bench Minor tourney in NYC. We will have 3 courts set up (@ Garfield Park where the 2008 NACCC's were held) and we will probably start around noon and play until everyone's too tired or drunk to play anymore. If you need a place to stay, contact me and I will hook you up. For more incentive to come, I will be making some of my home brew IPA and some "special" cupcakes. I hope to see you all soon!!

Even though we "shouldn't" talk of grass on this forum, it does not take much to get a game day together at humbolt. Just wait till late spring when the ground is less saturated. You will meet a lot of the ol' Chicago Bike Polo crew when it happens. It'll be a magical time.

Well... we are planning on coming on in Friday night. So Friday and Saturday. :) The reason I haven't said any thing sooner is twofold. One, people are still deciding if they are coming. And two, we have several people in Chicago that we could stay with if Polo people aren't able to host.
That being said, as of right now we have Jaimie, Kat, Trevor, Jeff and I for sure. Ebbin and John are flying in Saturday, yah I know weird but they are coming from Texas and somewhere else respectively.
I will get you an official headcount right quick and let you know who needs places to stay what nights.

3 laps through downtown Chicago in live traffic, racing between the bottoms of staircases, shouldering your bike to run up them, and taking ramps and such to get back down to the next one. I've heard that the stair total this year (if you do all three laps) is equivalent to running up the Hancock. heeheeheee.
