yep joey, ace and my son got mvp. My boy is 11 years old and held ace while me and robert were foot down. Ace definitely killed it though.
That is cool! I have an 11 year old that plays also. It's a great feeling seeing the little ones out there.
It is a great feeling knowing that he loves the sport as much as I do. He has only been playing for a few months and only goes to polo on sundays because I have him on the weekends. I am so proud of him and he did a great job! He wanted so bad to win and cried when we lost. Then shortly after was cheering on joe from chicago. haha.. Hope next time you can make it down man.

Finally caught up on sleep. I'm gonna thank two people first and foremost because you made my second time being in Texas so great.
first off, Mo was so incredibly helpful and all over the place. She was the part of the glue to all of the work that the rest of the ATX crew did and one of the most important people to me in ATX in terms of hospitality. Thanks Mo... Thanks!
Second, Joe Z. You let me crash your place, eat your food, shower in your shower, meet your roommate, smoke your trees, etc. It's people like you that make this experience go from good to great. You helped so much. Visit Denver on the way to SLC.
Generally speaking, the Mobile boys (David, etc) were way nice and super fun to chill with, play with, and generally see around the courts. I'll be rocking your shirt tommorrow. Jared and Charlie and Jason (str8 edge), you three are some of the most genuine people in the polo-verse. You opened your hearts and everything was always alright. you are proof that not drinking and not smoking is NOT CHEATING. I hope to see you guys as soon as possible, and hope to play you again on the polo court. Nick + Dan (ATX) you guys were super nice about everything and it was a pleasure to meet nick, see you again Dan and I'll see you on the courts sometime. Matt (MKE) you were super nice and I hope to see you on the court again. NOLA, Will + Paul, you two are seriously my favorite people to talk to, play with, and generally be around. Hopefully I'll be in the 206 with you sometime soon paul and I also hope I can make it to NOLA in Feb to play then. DANIEL AKA BABYLION just keep up the good energy and we'll get a chance to play you again soon. You were a great teammate in more ways than one and hopefully you'll get out of the dirty south and find somewhere where you can get more polo. Jeff and AB, you two were funny and serious at the same time... don't know what to say, glad I didn't have to play you any more than I had to.
Dunno what else I can say about my second time playing in Austin other than the fact it was an extremely good pair of courts, well thought out by Robert and the rest of the ATXBP Crew. I got around great this time, enjoyed myself a lot and thought it was one of the best tournaments this year. Austin is actually a nice place to be come the end of october! Hopefully we'll see you guys here in the 303 playing polo soon.
oh yeah, and ACE from NYC is a great polo player, well deserving of the co-MVP and one of the very cool people I got to meet for the first time whom I hope I'll get a chance to play with again soon.

Thanks so much ATX! Y'all throw a hell of a tournament. Miguel, thanks for letting the Larry crash at your place. Thank your girl for showing us that delicious food on Sunday night. And it was so much fun playing against Migg Migg. And I got no problem sharing the podium with Aztecs. That game was one of the top of the weekend for me. Denver, it was cool to see you guys again, and you can always crash at my place when you're in Lawrence. Jeff, it was good chattin with you on Sunday night. We'll be waiting for you to come up and play at the Cauldron. Charley, x2 on so many good games. It was sudden death all day. And thanks for the love, but I wasn't the only one holdin it down.

So, Thanks to everyone who came down, it was an amazing weekend, the atxbpsc saw so much great polo and met so many great people. Also, thank you to everyone for your patience on Sunday morning when I was trying to re-figure the results from Saturday, my computer crashed from all the crazy polo from Saturday, sorry if I was a jerk to you, I was a bit stressed out. AND A BIG THANKS TO JOE FROM CHI FOR KNOWING HOW A 34 TEAM DOUBLE ELIMINATION BRACKET IS ORGANIZED.... IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN US A LONG TIME TO FIGURE IT OUT... note to self, back up computers are always a good idea! I'm glad everyone had a good time and I can't wait to do it all over again!
Mo, Jazz, Miguel, Israel and amigos - I am so grateful to have people like you to help organize and put on such an event. Y'all are the best! This wouldn't have happened without your help, and you know that! Elise too, thanks for being able to print up some shirts last minute as our other shirt person backed out.

great meeting new people from all over; everyone was really chill and nice. all the games were fun as hell too- little miguel is a bad ass. thanks to will and the rest of nola for the ride in the party van; young tattler is a gossip queen. very proud of all the mobilianaires this weekend too. i hope to see you all again very soon. maybe we'll do something in mobile mid-decemberish if anyone is interested.
