Top 24 European teams For WHBPC 2011 Seattle!
Hi folks!
As we know yet, europe got 24 slots to WHBPC in seattle in september 2011.
I make this thread to know as soon as possible how many teams gonna make it from the top EHBPC 2011 24 teams. This thread is also here to make some mixed teams between people who have some tickets but without a complete teams to go.
Last, it's also important to know how to fill the spot if all the 24 first teams can come, for sure teams who are juste behind can ask for a spot too.
And that's also helpful for teams who didn't went to BCN EHBPC 2011 but want to goes in Seattle if they can find some slots left.
Im gonna put some " * " when we know that a team goes for sure to seattle.

we should be around the 24 position for sure ...we make draw with NETTO , and loose a great match against NICE TOUCH,,,, but for mistake they made us loose a game against oh lala schmoove ....that we won on the court ! ...what you think ? we deserve a wild card for the main tournment ???

My teammates might not make it. Does that mean I lose my spot and have to apply to the wildcard?

The Same for Polipolo, as they are near the 25 place, and according to what Jono said (Spring give his slot for people ranked just after officialy qualified), can they know yet that's ok for them?
Like this we make the thing moving a lil' bit forward and that's helpful for everybody, in Europe and in Seattle... I know that's completly sketchy, but i don't see so many other solution...
Alos, for EUropean teams who look for a player, i thik there is a lot of freelance players in USA and Canada who gonna search for a team, especially if they have already a slot in the main event. Maybe you should creat a thread to draft oversea bird (i know there is a bunch of real good players who don't have teams).
Don't you think you have to ask the north americans, australians... if they agree with this ? Maybe they have better teams than the 25th european, who didn't qualify and who'd like to go to Seattle ?
An other option could be to put all the not-going to whbpc european slots into the wildcard, no ?
I spoke with some folks from the NA comitee and i have understand well what Seattle folks did. They give Europe 24 slots and let us the way to choose who gonna come. They know that the 24 won't probably be feeded, and all the rest gonna be given to the wildcard slot.
Na teams have their own way to qualify, and that's choosen in Calgary North american championships, and teams who can't go there (calgary is far and expensive) gonna try to qualify into the wildcard.
Regardind to last year number of US and Autralian teams who went to Berlin (few...), and regarding to how many europeans teams answer to this thread or manifest their envy to go overseas, we don't gonna feed at all the 24 slots. So plenty of slots gonna go to the wildcard. And there is no complain about the number of Australian slots (think that they are in the same situation, that's far and expensive, so only a few want to come).
For now it seems that only one teams ranked out the 24 first european teams want to go, and another one (mine) non-ranked, but probably into the best 24 european teams. I don't think that's a big deal to accord them the right to go.
By the way, King Salami won't go to Seattle.
I'm trying to get 100% confirmation on this, but I'm pretty sure we are giving you guys 24 spots to do whatever you want with. We are suggesting they be offered to the top 24 teams, but failing that you can fill them however you like. It takes 2/3 of a team to count for the region. Any unused spots will be redistributed.
Australia is sorted. We have 6 spots which were filled with top 5 from Australian Nationals plus one mixed up team. We have no more interest than these 6 teams so dont worry about us.
I really hope to see a full 24 Euro teams there. Im excited to see all my Euro friends!!!!!
