Here are a few amusing screen captures from the video stream.
A couple of highlights:

Quinn from Ann Arbor reacting to the announcement that the "Up and Coming Badass" award comes with a Fleet Velo Joust!

Group shot of all the players and a bunch of dudes who watched.

And this bizarrely fitting ad that popped up during the vidcast.
the BOP is omnipresent..thank-you mother nature and the internet...congrats ladies!

Whoa that's awesome! She almost knocked me and my teammate out in Lexington at the 2v2; the whole time i was gettin' schooled and thinking "who the hell is this girl!" I remembered her name after that. Glad to hear she'll be cruising on a joust now!
Such a great weekend and lots of great games! LADIES BIKE POLO IS BADASS!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR MAKING IT HERE AND HAVING A GREAT TIME-

I've been getting shivers all morning thinking back on all the awesomeness that was yesterday.
So many people to thank:
-Our spirit squad for keeping us fed and watered and cheered for
-Killer Ladybugs for keeping it real 3 years in a row
-The Clap for knocking us out in eternal style. There is no other team I'd rather lose to.
-Elise R and the rest of the NAHB for their unbelievable hustle and show stopping plays.
-Birdie, Maija, and Cherri for going undefeated - so amazing!
-Quinn for reminding us what it's all about in the end.
-All the boys...your support is greatly, greatly appreciated.
-Meg Lee for, well, for just being Meg Lee
-Mr. Do for capturing it all on tape (two Words, Dustin: Feature Length)
-Mo, Jasmine, and the rest of Austin Bike Polo for their gracious southern hospitality, for throwing the best Ladies Army to date and for doing it all with humor and smiles (and hugs)
-My unbelievable teammates, Kayla and Jacki. I am so proud to call myself a Bedazzler.
I'm sure there's more, but mostly I just want to give a huge, huge, huge thank you to all the women who showed up and played their hearts out. I saw so much inspiring polo this weekend. You Ladies are badass. It is not humanly possible for me to feel more proud of the Ladies Army.
WOW ladies. Thank you so much TO EVERYONE.
I learned:
FUN WINS.
Live oaks yoga before game play helps with focus.
My ladies do not fold.
ATX's club is a high performance tournament machine in play and planning.
Killer Lady Bug's game strategy was UP THE PAWNS. Kudos to you women.
Seattle's club rolled so deep and was so supportive of not only their ladies but of us all.
Seabass has a heart of gold....good man. Moved me to tears.
Cherri/Bird/Maija are TCOB "Taking care of business..."
Quinn has it right. GO GIRL.
MegLee won my heart.
Barton Springs has curing powers.
ALL the women rep'd so hard and so well.
Different styles and flavors of polo that will keep me busy at pick up until next year.
How to smile after every game.
Not to be ashamed to cry when I am overwhelmed by the beauty of polo.
FUN WINS.
again...this was by far the best tournament yet. STUNNED.
LOVE you all. See you again soon.
next move.

Wow! That was by far the best ladies polo Ive ever seen! Such an inspirtion.
Thank you Austin Texas for an amazing weekend! Mo and Jazz, you slayed it! Very well organized, great polo, great parties, kegs, music, food, live streaming, kick ass prizes, burton springs and much more. Another sign of a good tournament is when you get a better feeling of the city youre in, and I really feel like I got the Austin Texas experience. What a special city.
Special Thanx to our spirit squad (Shaina, Mungu, and Miesha) for all your support! Also thank you to everyone who came to support ladies polo, and to Mr. do for capturing it all! So many stories in the art of bike polo.
Much love to my awesome teamates Jacki and Cecily! Jacki you rocked for playing all weekend with a sprained wrist and still slaying each game the best you could. I fired my genius for throwing a bomb in the last fold of my origami dream, so watch out ya all, cause the Bedazzlers are coming back next year with a new force.
There is way too much to say that hasn't been said already.
What a great experience all around, and a huge thanks to Machine for driving my ass around and saving me that last night! lol

Long list of "thank yous" and "you're amazings"...
Thank you first and foremost to Mo and Jazz for all the planning and hard work you put into the tournament. You ladies did a tremendous job! Tournament was smooth, tummies were full, and people were drunk. + + + ! ! !
Thank you to my team. Elise for going to "team practice," putting up with my temper tantrums every time I flatted out, and being the best friend/roommate/teammate a girl can have! You've become an amazing player and I love you dearly. Leslie, thanks for joining our team last minute. We couldn't have done it without you! You're a beautiful lady and a talented player. I still feel so lucky to have found you! Meg Lee, I don't know where you find the energy, but thank you for coming here and sweating in the sun with a broken collar bone for 3 days. You did a fantastic job. Also, on behalf of ATXBPSC, thanks for selling yourself at bike prom.
Which brings me to my next thank you to Sea bass (sp?) and Seattle. You guys and gals are awesome all around. Great attitudes, super helpful, just stand-up in general. Congrats to the C.L.A.P. on second place! You gals are killer.
Cunning Stunts. Holy jeez you ladies killed it! What an inspiration. You blew me away with your accuracy and team work. As much as I hated the fact y'all went undefeated, congratulations on first place. Well deserved. and that 0-0 match was straight bonkers.
Mr. Do thanks for filming! You do such a great job, and the poloverse is much appreciative!
Machine, although a bit crude at times, always hilarious. Thanks for adding foreign flair to sideline heckling.
Thanks to all the men who supported us and helped ref, sweep, build and take down boards, etc.
Especially our ATX boys. Zach, thanks for building the goals last minute. I know you received a lot of grief about safety and durability, but no one got impaled, so there!
To my sweet heart, KG. Thank you for all the honey-dos. Thanks for running errands for the tournament, fixing my mallet, consoling me after our losses. You're a beautiful person. I love you.
Mark and Pelon, thanks for the victory on Friday. It was an honor to play with you both.
Oh, and thanks Coach Farthing for the tips, criticisms, and pushing us to be better players.
To all the polo ladies, keep up the intensity, encourage other ladies to play, and thank you for coming. Until next year!

Ladies, lovely lovely strong, beautiful amazing ladies--and all the boys who showed their support in various ways--It was such a joy to share this most amazing experience/weekend/party/polo awesomeness with you over the weekend! To the ones I knew before, I love you all even more now. To the ones I met over those four incredible days, I am so pleased to know you now. There's so much I want to say but I there are hardly words to describe how perfect everything was and is and how proud I am to be among such incredible warrior women and the whole poloverse overall and how much I respect and admire every one of. Am I being sappy? I don't know, ya'll just make me some fecking happy!
And to Mo, Jaz and everyone in Austin - ya'll ran a perfect polo weekend; thank you so much. I said it before and I will say it again, host another tournament. We will all come back.
Ride, bake, polo, repeat.

All you cool people!, the best polo yet, the sexiest city in texas, the quantity of beers, riding around austin in packs of 20 and more, going to the prom, mornings with machine, swimming! and barton springs, the positivity and amazing attitude of all these polo ladies, the fucking tears of the crowd when Quinn won the joust! getting lost for miles and bombing down hills, having a party broken up by cops, pick-up, the flashbacks i keep getting:) sister-friend! thanks for letting me borrow your wheel AB! almost losing Maija and my bikes on the highway! Mo and Jazz: woah. amazing. I'm just going to keep getting flashbacks. Mr. Do, unbelievable. All you spectator boys drunk all day, keeping the ladies super-soaked. ..i could go on. I felt so many feelings this weekend! Polo is the best . oh god tear. I can't wait to see you all as soon as possible.

I've been staring at a blank comment box for the past 5 minutes because I'm not exactly sure what to say. I'll keep it short.
Wonderful weekend...on and off the courts!! To every lady who competed-thank you for coming to Austin! The level of competition impressed and excited me. I only wish I had gotten to know more of you...but I'm sure I'll have the chance at some point soon!
To every guy or lady who came to watch- thank you for the support, whether it be through encouragement, water gun spray downs, recording footage, court/goal building and maintenance, insane heckling, etc. Without it, I don't know how we would have made it through the weekend.
Like Jazz, my "polo spirit has been revived" as well, and I can't wait to see everyone in future tournaments! I love that playing polo is synonymous with joining a huge family!!!
count it.
@kayla: I think you're right. I put more into those last few games than I ever have before. And I agree with the best part being Meg's leap onto the court!

Whoa it's all been said. The weekend was an absolute blast. Austin was incredible to visit and I loved actually seeing the city for a first time at a polo tournament. The caliber of polo was outstanding. It was so great to see all my west coast friends and to meet knew people. Thanks team mates for fun games. I look forward to seeing you all again at another tournament. Ladies Army as a 2 day tournament best idea ever! Thanks Austin social club for making it happen and putting on a stellar event. I will make this short and sweet because I wholeheartedly agree with everything that has been said already! ATX crew- You guys are AMAZING!!! This is my second tournament in your great city and you guys are the most hospitable and sweetest club in polo that I've been to by far! I definitely hope to be back soon (hopefully for NACC's!). To all you fellas that make it down, you guys are rad dudes! The memories I had of last weekend will last forever. BEST BIRTHDAY WEEKEND EVER! Thanks for the delicious cake and tequila, Jazzy!! I LOVE MY CRAZY AWESOME POLO FAMILY SOOOOO MUCH!!! <3

Oh and to my girls:Birdie, Cherri, and Maija- I knew you girls would take the cake!! The CLAP- You ladies were a formidable opponent and I wish I could watch and play against you ladies more often. I definitely have some Cascadian girl crushes now, for sure!
Midwest is best!!
Can I x2 an entire page of "thank yous" and "best tournament evers"?
Love you guys and gals. This is what I spend my hours at work thinking about. Girl Crush indeed.
Final Game!!!
We forgot to pick a location for next year's LA aka Girl Crush. I know Chicago/ Milwaukee and Seattle are both interested in hosting it. Last year Chicago/MKE wanted to host, but the crowd kind of selected Austin without their bid. Chicago is hosting the 2012 CMWC's and I think it would be cool to have the tourney that weekend. That way all the messengers can come to race and cheer on all the ladies. It would also be rad to have the tourney in Seattle, but Cascadia has already hosted a LA and World's will be there this year. LA has been in Cascadia, East Coast, and the South so I think it only fair that either the Midwest or Northsides host the next one. What do you gals think?
Midwest is best!!
I just wanna throw in my vote for LA IV in the Midwest! But...do we have to wait a whole year? I miss ya'll tons already. I've been watching the final games nonstop since they were posted! Love the helmet cam!!
Ride, bake, polo, repeat.

I want to thank Elise R for my new girl crush, Quinn for my newfound inspiration. Jill! Where have you been all my life??!
Thank you Cunning Stunts, C.L.A.P., Badgers and especially Killer Lady Bugs for some of the best polo-tainment I have ever witnessed.
Thanks to Cordelia, my fellow mama, Naomi, Valley, Kayla, Meg, Cecily, Oleha, and Shelley for keeping the dream alive through all three tournaments (I hope I didn't miss anyone). Special thanks to Leon for being right there with us.
Thank you Jazz and Mo - what a heart-stopping, tear-jerking, skill-testing show you managed to pull off! I can't wait to go back to Austin - what the f*#k is in your water??!
Thanks to Machine and Tall George for a short and sweet Friday so I could go and explore Austin.
Thanks again to George and Israel for helping with the only serious mechanical I have ever had.
But mostly, thanks to each and every one of you for taking a chance, playing your damnedest and having a fabulous weekend. Warms my heart. Love you ladies!
Is girl crush resulting in the gushiest lobp posts ever? It's great. and I love that it's happening this year, with everything else that's going on. My British heritage prevents me from joining the gush full steam but suffice to say that I'm too am still in awe of the great polo weekend, the amazing tournament organizers, and the many lovely people. Also that me, Valley and Cordelia could be terrifying to anyone (besides maybe our partners) is quite a laugh. Thanks!!
I vote for Ladies Army IV in the Midwest somewhere.
Austin Texas Bike Polo Social Club: Yall killed it this year. The tournament was so well run.
And the polo! So good! I am inspired by all you rad ladies! So glad to have made new friends and reconnected with old ones. I can't wait to see you all again soon!

That shit 's legit as fuck!
I edited my vote for Midwest
I think that for LA 4 it's important to consider the co-ed on Friday, as that worked out really well, made sure we had enough support for everything else Saturday and Sunday, and was fun to open up with.
The city that wants to host it should probably put together some kind of "proper" bid on it. This tournament is growing and needs to be supported in all ways. Mo and Jazz did a great job, but the def didn't do it alone. A good team is needed [i sound a bit hypocritical right now]. It's not that it can't be done alone, or with limited help, but TAKE IT FROM ME it is not easy and it takes up a lot of time that many people just do not have with work and life and whatnot.
Location is key.
After that comes everything else.
Check your resources out and get a planning team together.
Make a bid.
Vote or something and go from there...
I want to throw up. the tournement was fun... but reallly... i've been moved more by shit i seen on facebook.

one of my favorite quotes of the weekend, by Elise, when Tina crashed hard:
"If you can't play, I'll forfeit, too"
You are awesome, Elise. it was a pleasure watching you compete

Hey ladies (and wonderfully supportive gentlemen),
I want to chime in here and suggest a bidding process for the next Ladies Army. As one of the founders of the tournament, I would be happy to set up and oversee the process. I am wondering what everyone thinks about this?
Currently we have interest from Milwaukee, Toronto, Seattle and Portland.
Is everyone cool with taking bids?
Who would sit on the selection committee? My immediate suggestion would be the previous year's hosts and myself, but what do you think?
Chime in! Let's keep the Army rollin'!!
They can do bids on LoBP just like for the other tournaments, and we can probably get Kev to set up a vote so each lady can cast a vote herself. Or even do a vote on Google Surveys.
For what its worth, Seattle will happily bow to Portland and make them do all the work!
And I'm willing to go to anywhere to see y'all again.
Oh my the competition to host LA4 has begun. I'm down with it happening anywhere. I now live in the middle of nowhere so either way it's a trek. I like going to new cities so Chicago, Millwaukee or would be cool. Either way, I like the LOBP bid process Kiersten suggested. As for decision making committee of such, people from last year sound good and anyone else that's keen. Time of year is important (for weather) - and Austin in May was perfect. I missed sweltering heat in NYC.

In regards to LA4 bids:
In order to make a proper vote, I'm going to need a couple things from each city.
1. What kind of parties are you going to give us?
2. Is there going to be swimming involved?
3. Will it be warm?
4. Can we all slumber on the same block?
5. List of notorious fun havers from each prospective city (optional).
6. I mean I know we're gonna have fun, but are we going to have FUN?!?
GOLLY GEE I can't wait til next year!!
I also can't wait to see everyone soon, but not soon enough!
Can you please post this here Jazz:

if you wanted a shirt and didn't get one at the tournament, now is the time.
I am taking orders for shirts.
They are UNI-SEX American Apparel T-Shirts.
I have emailed all the people that signed up at the tournament so if you didn't receive an email, I must have gotten your email wrong, or check your SPAM.
Order Here:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dE...
I am hoping to group together orders if many people from a single club are ordering (which doesn't really seem to be the case).
T-Shirts will be $15 plus $2 for shipping.
Please paypal jasminejjones@gmail.com with your shipping information ("gift" styles).
