when did this change? i was under the impression, based on the information provided, that the top 24 would be playing today, not 32, and thus we would all know who was qualifying for worlds based on this. now it appears that there is still a question of who will advance to worlds from north americans. good luck everyone.
TO ANYONE ORGANIZING WORLDS, can you please make sure you have the numbers correct ect. this is confusing and misleading, and as worlds is under more pressure from the international community it would be wise to have information correct going in.

I'm just saying the bracket size is 32, but the top 24 are going on... IE: anyone who wins at least one game in the Bracket makes it to worlds
i know what you are saying, let me be more clear/rephrase...
the nahbpc website schedule states that the top 24 from Fri/Sat would be playing today in double elim, not the top 32...
thus if that was really the case then those teams would be all qualified for worlds, but they would still be playing today for the nahbpc title.
now it appears that the top 32 moved to today...
it's just the point of having the correct information for the public as we're watching, supporting, trying to understand who would be going forward to worlds, etc...
and to follow up what you are saying...so if you lost the first game, went into the losers bracket but then won your first loser's bracket game then you are qualifying for worlds, which makes sense because of the numbers, and removing those bottom 8.

That's true. Organizing this tourney has been quite a challenge for the Calgary folks though - they're just trying to give people as much good polo as they can - and they are doing a great job at it!

Calgary... you all kick ass!!!! Man that was polo fun for sure. Thanks to all your volunteers for a kick ass help, hungover or not. I'm a little worked today. Man that drive was rough. thank god for 7 hour energy shots!!!! then a 5 hour. Trevor big props to all you DIY hospitality. Those boys can rope anything! perfect weather all weekend. Thanks everyone and my crew to get us there and back.... nice work my proteges the Guardians for hanging in there. Best part was all the early am and late pm pickup games. I was most impressed with the ATL team....good work.
And anyone coming in early that wants to help assemble courts, you will be treated right!!!! I just found 40 sheets of ply by inviting a friend to my daughters bday party!!!! holly shit!

What a fantastic weekend! Thank you Calgary for hosting a hugely fabulous event, you are a top notch club and I love you all. Thank you to Shannon and her parents for the best polo housing ever. Period. Thank you to all the old friends and new for an overwhelmingly fun time - I think I'm going to be in polo tournament withdrawl until seattle! And thank you to my team, Allan and Kiersten, for some amazing frickin' polo. I had so much fun playing with you two this weekend!!!

Calgary you rocked my Poloverse , Apologies to anyone who wasn't there that needed commentary, I was so fired up and enjoying everyones company that staying in one place for more than a game was nigh on impossible. What an event. I'm stoked to have not qualified against such brilliant competition knowing that i get 2 extra daze in seattle to play as Dei ex Machine. Honestly, wicked time Calgary. Amazing polo, as usual, so many upsets and low scoring games. Kudos to everyone who made this possible, it's not an easy job. A huge thanks to; Chris, Alex and little Sophie from East Van for the awesome rocky mountain road trip. Calgary locals Hope and Corey for being the best hosts ever. PGH, LEX and ATL for post tournament laughs. OK folks the prize that I was awarded for supposedly saying to someone "Are you an Escort" in Calgary has found it's rightful owner with SF'S very own photographer and all round polo player extraordinairre Mike Shriver,who has been cultivating his Scottish Accent for a year now and seems to be fooling many into thinking he is me or me is he . The chosen prize was a wheelcover which I had signed by a plethera of polo players and organisers and it now proudly adorns Mikes front wheel.
