Pittsburgh's 6th Annual "Fourth" of July Friendlies
WHEN: The morning of Saturday July 9th until Sunday July 10th. There will be people at the court around 10 AM on Saturday.
WHERE: We plan to play at Osceola Parklet (the court we played on last year).
If we can't reserve Osceola or the new court, the backup plan is to play at the Bloomfield Polo Court, under the Bloomfield Bridge. There is a parking lot under the bridge, also. The entrance is at Liberty Avenue and Ewing Street, behind Paul Lumber.
COST: Probably about free fifty
POLO: Pick-up, pick-up, pick-up. There will also be a throw-in double-elimination tournament.
HOUSING/RSVP's: Please send an email to pghbikepolo [at] gmail [dot] com if you need housing. Include the number of people, when you plan to arrive, and any other important info (like animal allergies, etc.)
OTHER: Feel free to come down a few days early! There's plenty of awesome mountain biking in and around the city as well as an indoor mountain bike/BMX park (http://www.thewheelmill.com/). Also, on the actual 4th of July, the city of Pittsburgh will put on a huge fireworks display that we'll ride down and watch.
