THE ISLAND CUP

ISLAND CUP BIKE POLO TOURNAMENT (formerly Balls in the City) WILL BE A ONE DAY EXTRAVAGANZA ON SATURDAY JUNE 2nd !! 9:30 am - 8:00 pm

We'll be playing on TWO COURTS on BRAND SPANKING NEW ASPHALT at VIC HIGH in FERNWOOD (this is confirmed). So COME TO VICTORIA the SATURDAY following the Cascadia Regional Qualifier in Vancouver, and play with us.

16 or 20 teams, depending on the level of interest. Cost will be minimal - likely 10 bucks a player. Registration will be here (see link below), and is open immediately (REGISTER YOUR TEAM NOW). Registration fees will be collected first thing Saturday morning.

PICK-UP FRIDAY NIGHT, and the Victoria International Cycling Festival will be on - there will be stuff happening including and a massive party on Saturday night sponsored by Phillips Brewery (see http://vicf.ca/calendar/ ).. Apparently someone from the festival will be filming at the tournament, blah blah blah.. Limited billeting will be available (but there are also a lot of places to tent in this city- bushy ocean bluffs).
