Hey buddy, thanks for thinking of me, I would feckin LOVE to be on a team with ya, but since they changed it AGAIN it looks like I wont be makin it to South Centrals. So bummed- Someday when I land a teaching job I'll be free on weekends for tourney (If Im not too old & decrepid by then)

I'm going to Vegas. Trying to work up a team, but some of our Florida slayers are heading to All-Florida, so we'll see.
Can't wait though. And I could definitely tell you were having a good time with the commentary.
As I was watching over the days I noticed a couple things:
Watching a polo game with no announcer and a bad camera angle with less light than needed to really show the ball well, is like driving with one of your contacts popped out..
Watching the polo game with inadvertent commentary by bystanders, or Max saying 'Woah that was crazy!' in lieu of description of action is more like being in the mosh pit but not seeing the band
But watching with a snappy, timely and dulcet play-by-play stream making sense of the madness and focusing the mind's lens where it was once a murky view... well that was excellent.

My favorite interlude was your touching rendition of Loch Lomond, which I turned up loud.

Thanks again Duncan, I actually haven't done any of this til this year. It started off with me just hecklin . Commentating is a whole new ball game for me . I did for 2 days at the Chicago Bench Minor just for the people who couldn't make it. Didn't do it in Calgary but was asked to do it on the last day of the worlds so i thought i'd do it for the poloverse . Don't know if you could hear it in my voice but I was loving every minute. Gonna try for Vegas . Ya goin
